is the trade-off worth it?ok, maybe i've been studying too much of econs. the trade-off between price stability and employment etc. but its true. the trade-off between academics and social life is ever so prevalent in jc. i see total extremes in real life. one focusing on studies, and the other on socialising. well, both succeed in their forte but fail in the other. that's sad. however, there are those who can succeed in both, and i kowtow to them. well-rounders, they call them.
that brings me to the point of spending time with yourself. be it reading, sleeping etc. can you find a quiet time to spend by youself, away from the hustle and bustle of life? its good to stop, ponder and reflect about the hectic life we're leading. other than academic and social life, there is more to that. presently, i'm finding it hard to achieve a balance.
