went pubbing at clarke quay with gabe aaron and weijian after dinner. one shirley temple was like 9 bucks. wth. haha. we actually wanted to go to one night stand which had some comedy. sign read "23 years old for guys" so yeah. didn't enter.
said our goodbyes and i went on my journey to find a bus stop. that was the silliest thing of me to do. no buses would be around in the dead of the night. took a taxi home instead. okay. sleeping time. nights.

A BLESSED CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!argh! i'm so infuriated, but i'll blog about that later.
had caroling today at sheraton towers. caroling is fabulously fun la. i like all the different parts coming together as one song. maybe that's why i'm still in choir. the first session was at 7.30 and we sang at the restaurant. response wasn't very encouraging. maybe because everybody was busy eating. second session was held at the steps near the hotel entrance/exit. the acoustics there was better and more people watched. i guess the best was at esplanade (:
after that, i got pissed when somebody asked tiffany "he's one of us right?". i didn't show it but i was like wth. that's my understanding of that ambiguous question but i think i should be right. went to orchard with tiffany linda and joanna after caroling. haha. i feel bad rejecting the rest who asked me to go out with them. i can sense fractions of nj choir from the few practices that i attended. dunno whether that's good or bad.
yes. the exciting part comes now. i really dunno how to express my dissatisfaction over the twits who were pushing and spraying the eeky foam and coagulating pink thingy on everyone on orchard road. once we came out of orchard mrt, it was literally shoulder to shoulder with everyone on the streets. then came those stupid sounds of cans being shaken. and before you know it, you are being sprayed with whatever. hey people, we are all civilised (except for the twits who wasted money buying the cans). i don't mean to be a humbug, but really, pushing? nudging? spraying at people's faces? that doesn't sound fun at all. come to think of it, maybe if i did have a can, i would have fun spraying at other people. in the end, we gave up going to nydc at heerens (we would have probably taken forever to reach cause we took half an hour to walk from the mrt to the entrance of wisma. normally, it would have taken just 2 minutes) and we took 7 to holland's nydc. i had some lemon fizz thingy. i had expected a louder "merry christmas" from the staff once the clock striked twelve, nevertheless, it was said (: it made the atmosphere. haha. the orchard road experience would be unforgetable. new year's eve would be exactly like that. the sms service was clogged up as usual once it was 12. but me and tiff could send christmas greetings to each other, cause our serivce operator is m1.
after nydc, said goodbye to joanna and tiff. went to take bus with linda cause we live near each other. i missed my last bus!!! it was already 12.30am. no night rider there too. but, there was 61. so i took 61 with linda. alighted at pei hwa then took a cab home. cheapo me. haha.
i'm tired now. luckily my church service is at 7.30pm tomorrow. but i've got practise at 4. at least i can sleep late (:

had a wedding dinner yesterday. it was my sister's boyfriend's elder brother's wedding. hahaha. i'm fortunate to have been invited. yummy food. it was at some tung lok restaurant at liang court. haha. i saw the crazy horse cabaret building. the windows are made of tinted glass so.....also saw the ministry of sound. now that's a part of singapore i don't go to often.
today's church was erm, abit traumatising. shan't mention what, but it was nothing to do with worship (mine's conservative). it was something to do with the clashing of the different churches using the sanctuary. hahaha. nvm. i'm boring myself.

the pae results came out on today. like 80% of my class is going to ac. sad. i am really the only one going to nj. ac's appealing procedure seems like a turn off too. felt down. had to drag my feet for my piano lesson. hmm. the A piece sounds nice after knowing how to play a wee bit of it. probably learning the B and C piece next week. came home for a while, then i went to acs barker for a concert, waited half an hour for the girl to come. then we went into the audi together for the christmas concert. nat and gang came later. was quite pissed with nat la, but its not her fault. the concert was emotionally uplifting. in the sense that it really showed the true meaning of christmas. haha. then as usual, there would be the asking people to receive Christ part at the end. didn't stay for refreshments though. thanks for the christmas present! (: hahaha.went to orchard with the girl after the concert. nat and gang alighted at newton. lots of things happened on the bus (: walked around orchard. lots of carolling going on. then the worst thing happened. birdshit dropped on me. i 'koped' this from the girl's blog:
and so we walked to 7-eleven to get mashed potato and slurpee. and we sat under a huge tree. it was k inda hilarious. cos it was like a birdshit haven. dried up birdshit. and suddenly i heard a 'piak' sound.

and that was the story. he didn't even scream or anything, just said it in a very calm tone. WAHAHAHA.
haha. bird flu is around. hope i don't get it. and i'm never ever going to sit beneath the trees beside the specialists' centre. when i was going home, the buses were all packed. had to wait like half an hour before there was space on the bus. okay. that's it. going to sleep now. nights!

i went to jovin's house today after watching the live telecast of the amazing race. the weavers' lost. i wanted them to win so badly. i think they screwed it up at the stadium place.went to play dota. i finally know the tactics (: thanks to mark. hahahahaha. ok. i'm a noob.

i went for njc choir today. the side gate was closed, so i had to walk freaking long to the main gate which is located like far far inside those private property area. i got a shock when i saw the whole stack of songs waiting for me on the table at the canteen. 18 songs/carols. and i wasn't singing the melody. haha. learnt them in 1 hour -beams at myself. hahaha. but i'm still unsure. 2 dsa guys were there too. at least they can accompany me. anyway, ms lim knows that i wanna go ac! so paiseh. but she was real nice la. telling me lots of stuff. tiff linda and joanna were great too. at least i've seniors there too (: there will be carolling at esplanade and hotels. hope the money earned will be given to us individually, or is it the choir as a whole?i cannot jiang3 hua2 yu3 for nuts.
i've got 5 direct buses to njc (:
had church practice later. didn't start until like 8.15pm???45 mins from the actual supposed starting time. luckily i was late. i came at 7.45. still had to wait anyway. haha. practise was okay. stella and i kept talking non-stop. haha. ok. i should be contented with nj. i read ac's webbie and i've got to photocopy so many stuff, like cca certs. thus, i think ac will probably accept me by choir, which i wouldn't prefer, thus maybe i should give up hope on going to ac. but there's chapel, devotions, friends and english(english-orientated)! bahhh. nj's okay. please come to nj after first 3 months! (:
the jc posting results are nearing. i can imagine the anxiety everyone's facing. maybe that's why i signed up for dsa- not to feel the nerve-wrecking moments.
there's nobody to talk to these days at night. i'm super bored.

ooooooooooo. today rocked! went to church for the combined baptismal service. the sermon was an out of the box one- using an art piece to tell the true meaning of christmas. yes, and by the way, no "xmas" or "happy holidays". its blessed christmas. haha. after church, barney malvin and justin had a "tell the good news" workshop. funny though, cause the workshops seem to be attended by the same people. haha. i went for lunch with my family instead. went to balithai at imm. all the spicy food. shouldn't have eaten them, now my throat's worse. the "warm" soyabean milk that i drank to soothe my throat just scalded my tongue. great.at 3pm, went to justin's house to practise. stella met us there. she lives just below justin. cheapskate! hahahah. we took the song from the hymnal cause we just couldn't wait for wesley to help us compose the n'sync version. anyway, had lots of fun there. haha. we took weird pics and watched funny videos. ended at 8pm. hahaha. late! oh yeah. thanks stella for the starbursts!!! just came back from bowling. after my piano lesson, walked across the street to mayfair, where michael lives. haha. his condo has a bowling alley! nat jeremy and jinshun were there. haha. did alot of crazy stuff that you normally won't do in a public bowling alley. now, my thumb is aching, together with my arm. i can't play the piano properly. haha. pain!michael told me this blog. its an absolutely must-see blog! i read through and i really agree with the people in-charge of the blog. the language is totally horrendous. twits are a liability to the english language. and of course, the s_____. shan't put it here, in case i am sued.

the next day was quite a hectic one. at ritz carlton, i had a job to open doors to the ballroom in which the delegates had some talk. my job was to just transport the golf bags to the golf club. the freak woman whom me and mel called "pong pong (frizzed up) hair woman" asked me to open doors. she was assigning everybody tasks and didn't do anything herself. she just sat in one corner drinking coffee. well, at least i experienced how the real working world is like. the rest of the people were real friendly though (: at the golf club, i screwed up my task to distribute golf balls in the golf course. instead of giving each flight a box (4 packs) of golf balls, i only gave them one pack. fortunately the person-in-charge didn't scold me. for lunch, everything was on the house, and i mingled with all the rich people. kinda deluded myself into being like them. hahaha. wake up to reality man. anyway, when the golfers were playing, it was slacking time for us temps. but once they came back, boy, it was busy busy busy. i was sweating like mad. haha. had to account for the golf bags and stuff. finally i left the golf club with the bags back to ritz carlton. i thought i could leave once i accounted for all the bags. ( i was hoping for somemore stuff to do to earn more hours) haha. david said that help was needed in the hotel room. yeah! the room was fabulous (but messy) the windows were huge. there was a octagon or hexagon shaped window beside the bathtub. haha. good scenery for fireworks! then i had to transport gifts and letters with a bell boy. i got to see the presidential and ritz carlton suites thanks to him! HUGE! haha. lifestyle of the rich and famous then. worked from 9am to 11pm. 14 hours! yeah! $$$. one setback. i'll only be getting my pay like after chinese new year. sickening. haha.
going for my piano lesson now. bye!

got a call from 3 com today telling me about a briefing for the job tomorrow. i got so excited that i couldn't get back to sleep again. hahahaha. at about 1, met michael jeremy jinshun and weijian at wisma. no space at the food court, so we went to mos burger at lido to eat. went to use the toilets at wheelock as jinshun said they were clean. hahahaha. then went to isetan lido and wisma. walked to taka to look at michael's "expensive branded shirts" that raymond had supposedly introduced. it was tommy jeans. lol. since lan was on their itinary, i had to follow them to bugis. luckily i grabbed jeremy to go "shopping" with me. junction 8 is pathetic. nothing there for me to buy, so it wasn't really shopping. ate tako pachi- octopus balls before leaving to tanjong pagar to attend the briefing. was 15 mins early from meeting rachel. briefing was okay. had to learn golf terms like birdie and eagle. hahaha. funny terms eh? wonder who invented those weird terms. must be equally weird. anyway, i clocked in about 3 hours today. so i've got myself $21. haha. i want a new bag. saw one today. hopefully i can use my "salary" to buy the bag. hahaha.today's practise was cancelled because too few people are going to go. i think that's the case for thursday too, cause me and rachel are working. i feel bad. anyway, better sleep early today. a long day for me at the airport tomorrow welcoming delegates from all around the globe. lucky rachel, get to slack at ritz carlton. haha.

nothing much happened today. also, i think i'll pen (type) down thoughts, since writing about what's happening everyday is getting kinda boring.i guess i'll talk about my beloved school that i'm leaving. i really think that it's by God's grace that i was admitted into fairfield. i was actually posted to swiss cottage (its in band 2. don't i regret it?) but somehow, i felt uncomfortable when i went to report there the day after the postng results. i was just short of 1 point to enter acsi. wasted. perharps God didn't want me to turn gay? haha. while swiss cottage was my second choice, fairfield wasn't in any of my choices. i didn't want to enter swiss cottage cause my impression of it was "ah bengs and ah lians". dunno why i put it as a choice too. so, its amazing that i could enter fairfield. i remember that after reporting to swiss cottage, i immediately went to acsi to appeal. apparently, i had to stay in their boarding school for 1 year. eight thousand dollars per month or something like that. no no no. so i was sad. i had no intention of going to fairfield at all. someway or another, since fairfield was opposite acsi, and it was also methodist, my dad asked whether i wanted to appeal into fairfield. after the acsi incident, i was low in spirits so i said my classic answer, "anything". the appeal form was simple. i just had to wait for a call for a audition, if i was shortlisted that is. i remember praying real hard. and a few days later, i got a call to go for the audition. haha. i met jeraldine at the audition. linda and kar yee auditioned me i think. if not for them, i wouldn't have been accepted through choir. i regret taking a photo of the words in the canteen "To God Be The Glory!", if not, i could put it here. haha.
i've really been blessed in fairfield. i got to know a new genre of christian songs thanks to the vibrant chapels that my church didn't have then (there is now). plus, the daily devotions are/were ever so enlightening. i'll definitely miss chapel and devotions if i go to njc. in fact, i've already missed both ever since the 3 week break before the o's.
the people are really great too! i've not made an enemy. for that, i'm eternally grateful! i do hope that the friendships i've made would be everlasting!
thanks to one and all who have made my 4 years in fairfield an unforgetable and fruitful one!

today was a great day at east coast! fishing, cycling, eating... haha. plus, i got a tan. my face is totally red. but, its not sun burnt! (i hope) haha. the pics were taken at the jetty. didn't really have time to take pics at the other places. argh! my butt hurts from all the cycling. glad to know that i haven't lost my cycling skills, since i haven't cycled for ages. went to east coast with michael jeremy martin zr sean and ritik. i caught only one fish. ok. that's pathetic. but hey, i was cycling most of the time! haha.
long ride home as usual. was dead tired. slept for 1 hour, then i had to get ready for church. the practise today was much more fruitful, cause wesley brought the parts. but still, the lesson i learnt was never to be punctual. nevermind.

went out with my parents today. my sis left for LA. she's near you jksy! how i wish i could go with her! then i can go visiting! haha. went to holland v. saw many rich fags! argh. yeah. i'm probably just jealous. anyway, i had my fair share. haha. went to haagen daz to eat ice cream. should have gotten a sundae instead of the green tea thing. not worth twenty bucks. after that, we went to see the pet shops! haha. so many cute dogs! actually puppies. haha. when my dog was a puppy, he was super cute. but now, he's not that cute anymore. haha. i'm not making sense. gosh, i sounded like my sis. i'll post pics of my dog later! haha. courtesy of gabe, who said he wanted to see pics in my posts.
i met up with jeremy and michael at lot one next. hahahahaha. michael looks funny without specs and for some reason, whenever i see him, i'll always find something of him to pick on. haha. i'm so bad. jeremy had dinner at home, leaving me and michael to eat macs. haha. i had fries for dinner. pathetic and unhealthy. i've been neglecting my health these few weeks. just great.
made michael to walk and walk around lot one and the nearby neighbourhood centre shops cause i was still early for church. haha. thanks michael! (: at 7, i bid him farewell and took 302 to church. i reached at 7.20, 10 mins early. gerizm bp church had some youth camp. watched them run around while waiting. anyway, the lesson i learnt on tuesday is changed. the lesson? come 15 mins later now. hopefully the lesson learnt would be punctuallity. i can't voice out anything cause i'm not in the youth com. stella's improving in singing. thats good (: other than that, i don't think we did anything much.
oh yes. rachel got me a job!!! 2 days only though. 7am to 10.30pm. haha. 7 bucks an hour. its about ushering expats around and stuff. haha. can earn $217! haha.
