sorry if i sound insulting. i am in a bitchy mood.today was my chinese mid-yr exam. i totally screwed it up. people tell me that when i say i screw up my exams, i do well. i like beg to differ lots!!!!! i know i will do badly for it. i screwed up the zhao ju and wan chen ju zi section. together with ying yong wen, which i didn't finish. anyway, enough of me going on and on about it.
after the whole dwelling in self pity exam, i went to eat lunch with stephen and michael. then stephen enocountered something funny. shan't say what though. in case they read this. speaking of people reading blogs, yuan hao blog is damn funny!!! OMG. he actually puts like practically every feeling of his into his blog. hahaha. its confidential so i cant say anything here cos he might say i "betrayed" him. but he didn't tell me anything though. lesson learnt: never judge a book by its cover. anyway, back to topic. then we met janelle, fiona, pam, matt and nat. we were all going to orchard. stephen went home because something cropped up. hahas. reached orchard. cut my hair with michael. i don't wanna say more.
michael went home because he was tired. he was in a worse condition than me. i met the rest at paragon's quiksilver shop. richie pants matt was snooping around to see what new clothes could be added on to his million dollar wardrobe. hahaha. fiona and jan were finding somebody's present. pam went to meet somebody. me and nat sat down. left then went to taka. matt bought a cushion for his sister. you should know roughly how much it cost without me saying. then fiona went to buy gelato! ohh.. i just miss italy's gelato. haha. by that time my brain was frying. then we went to cine's tcc. by that time my mind totally shut off and i asked silly questions of which i already knew how to answer. i didn't buy anything. i was broke. 6pm. time to go home. i walked off in a different direction from all of them as my bus stop. said our goodbyes. then after walking abit, when i turned my head, matt signalled bye to me.
i'm dead tired now. my schedule for the week:
monday: napfa test. band practice.
tuesday: biology test. 10 chapters!!! chinese oral. MY BIRTHDAY!!! ((((((((((:
wednesday: amaths test. english oral. band practice.
thursday: physics test. band practice.
friday. the LONG awaited chiang rai trip, in which i'll be going with matt, jer, jer, chia and, wan. can't wait!

hahaha. went to church just now and my friend said that i was in the gen y section of the sunday tines. after coming home, i grabbed the newsapapers to read immediately. yup. it was that phone interview. she asked me my opinion on how i would react if i was the girl and the comment that i made is on the newspaper. getting ready for the musical later. tata//Saturday, April 09, 2005

OMG OMG!!! this is the most exciting day of my LIFE!i went to school early today to warm-up for SYF. we were PREPARED! we left on a bus to singapore conference hall CONFIDENT. but we were COMPLACENT after hearing many people saying that we were a sure GOLD WITH HONOURS. we were there at 8.45am, so we waited till 9am to go into the tuning room to warm up. we were only given 10 mins. it was over in a blink of an eye. when it was our turn to perform, we went up to the stage and rises ELEGANTLY, SMILING.
1st song: sunset.
2nd song: cui dong cui
3rd song: ave maris stella
the songs were quite pitchy and after the performance most of us were in DEPRESSION as we knew that we had not done our best. but mrs ong said that we sang well. that was comforting but deep in our hearts we knew we did not have a good sound. took a bus and went back to school. i was in a loner stage. sat alone thinking and thinking about what went wrong. then heard that samantha foo went around telling people that ms lim told her that we were definitely a SILVER. but according to her, it was a runmour.
went for recess and chatted with the caring choir seniors. then had to leave for chemistry lesson even though i could skip it. hahas. then there was amaths. learnt some new log and ln function graphs using the tablet pc. then it was time to go back to singapore conference hall to hear the results. i went with chia's gang. we ate at the kopitiam just right in front of the conference hall, where, we got some sickening stares from RI guys who think they are so big. stuck-up pieces of shit. then we headed to starbucks. i ordered a rhumba but some assy girl went to take mine. and i got a caramel frapp. what rubbish. i paid more la. but i'm not so cheapskate (ya. like real). met many people then we headed back to the conference hall.
waited for 1 hours plus then we could enter the auditorium. in which, ms lim told us that gold with honours was out of question. spirits sank immediately. but somehow, i had that feeling that we would clinch the GOLD WITH HONOURS.
waited for a few minutes in which seemed like hours for the lady to annouce the results.

the lady gave up and we eventually died down. as what ms lim said, we are hooligans. hahas. but, hooligans have character!
i'll never forget how i felt. i didn't cry at first. but after the whole thing, when joan gave a prayer of thanksgiving, i felt that God has really blessed the choir and He has always been with us. He made our efforts pay off and that really touched me. at that point of time, my eyes swelled with tears. there were hugs, screamings and shouts of joy. most importantly, tears of joy. i really really want to thank God for what he has done for the choir.
