when i said that cts were over in the previous post, i was deluding myself. i still have a paper on tuesday! well, some people say that i got into this mess myself, but h3 econs is fun. all the cool theorems that are there for us to challenge! hahahaha.

however, there's no notes for me to study, and i seriously don't know how to answer a 35 mark essay question with my minute knowledge on game theory etc. i think i'm screwed. plus, now i'm supposed to be concentrating on nationals which are like, next week. argh....

HUURRAYY!!!!

the stupid cts are over. the one that made my holidays so miserable and unfufilling. oh well, guess i'll have my own holiday now. i guess its been ingrained into my mind that holidays ALWAYS come after exams. but after coming to nj, that has almost never been the case - this year's ct1 which was pushed forward due to syf. went out with mco today! three amigos, havaianas, each-a-cup.

ok, my mind's feeling a tad purile. perharps its the after-effect of 3 continuous days of madness.

outside wheelock.

is the trade-off worth it?

ok, maybe i've been studying too much of econs. the trade-off between price stability and employment etc. but its true. the trade-off between academics and social life is ever so prevalent in jc. i see total extremes in real life. one focusing on studies, and the other on socialising. well, both succeed in their forte but fail in the other. that's sad. however, there are those who can succeed in both, and i kowtow to them. well-rounders, they call them.

that brings me to the point of spending time with yourself. be it reading, sleeping etc. can you find a quiet time to spend by youself, away from the hustle and bustle of life? its good to stop, ponder and reflect about the hectic life we're leading. other than academic and social life, there is more to that. presently, i'm finding it hard to achieve a balance.

Your EQ is 133

50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick!
51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese.
71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.
91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that.
111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.
131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.
150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.
What's Your EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient)?
