first and foremost, my heartfelt gratitude to my basses who did me proud today, 8th may 2007 at the syf central judging competition of choirs. conan, yong jian, ling chung, amos, zi jiang, jensen, xingqun, jiahao, we deserve what we got! i would like to thank jiahao and xq the most for helping me to handle and teach the basses well, until we were (are still) in tip-top condition and ms lim's "best section in nj choir". my face always beamed (s) with a smile whenever she said that. i know we are all fighters and we pull through each performance well.having said that, the whole nj choir deserves the most credit as we all came together as a team and worked as one. it made the experience on stage all the more lively and homely. sanctus was sung with much exuberance and kodomo was just playful. we were amazing.
miss lim's 'good' after sanctus and 'very good' after kodoma made the syf experience worthwhile. its been a long time ever since she said that, and waves of emotions just came over me. i'm sure many of you felt the same way.
