A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! (:spent the countdown in church. my group was sharing about experiencing God in our lives when suddenly "10, 9, 8... 3, 2, 1! happy new year!" quite anti-climax. haha. for me, i shared about how i took the daily devotions and chapel in school for granted for 12 years of my life. tears welled in my eyes but i calmed down.
had a stayover in church. haha. i didn't even sleep a wink. stella and her sisters too. haha. all of us plus barney justin mel and daniel played dai dee and some finger game until like 5am. it was just great not having that gang. i feel that they create some barrier that stops everybody from bonding. went to have mac breakfast at 6am. haha. tried to sleep for 1/2 an hour but i couldn't. i was up for backup singing 2 hours later and i was like a singing zombie. but something good was that i could sing higher notes. haha. i think i totally exhausted myself during the worship itself. i left after offering so that my parents wouldn't need to wait for me, and also, i would have just collapsed onto the chair if i stayed for the message.
i slept from 12 until 6pm. my mum woke me up to go for my grandmother's birthday party at my auntie's house. there was alot of food. haha. ate until i wanted to sleep again. then today, i slept from 12am to 2pm. argh. i take 2 days to recover from just one sleepless night.
i wonder what will it be like at ac tomorrow. one whole yellow gang walking in. hahaha. at least its better than me. alone. but actually i'm not. haha. i meeting cherlynn and stella and grace from mgs. haha. i know 3 out of the 5 mg girls going. english-speaking must stick together! away from the jiang hua yu majority. haha. that's what me and stella talked about while we stayed up all night/morning in church. haha. i'll see her tomorrow then.
looking forward to tomorrow? paradigm shift/.
