hahas. haven't been blogging long lately coz i have been busy and stuff. so i shall blog about the concert on the:29th June 2004, Tuesday
actually, it was quite stupid to hold it on a school day la... so tired and lethargic... ok. it was a little more than half-day school for me. released at 12.30pm (yay! no chinese!) then went to eat some snacks and we got on to the bus at 1pm. oh yar... i borrowed nicholas' choir costume and i couldn't even fit into it... haiz... must get from jiahan for next year's syf. so we reached victoria concert hall at 1.30pm. the dressing rooms were damn congested. in the end the guys had to change in the toilets while the gals had their own room + our ex-room. hahas. changing in the toilet was not that bad after all. easier to find my stuff and change. had rehearsals, warm-ups and stuff. then dinner then it was time for the real thing.
7.30, the upper sec combined choir sang "Zadok the Priest". hahas. luckily we could hold scores, if not i couldn't even be able to mouth the words. hahas. evil right? anyway, i think other people followed suit. anglican was the loudest in that song. then it was anglican's turn to sing 3 songs. all chinese. (yucks!) ok. i may seem anti-chinese but i am not. then it was our turn to sing. i think we did the worst for the segment. latin and english songs rock! but we still did quite badly. then mrs ong come and say that we very good and stuff just to bring our morale up but we knew ourselves that it was bad. oh yar! i want to complain about MI! he/she isn't doing anything! in the end i have to do whatever he/she is supposed to do! so pissed. then instead of keeping the choir quiet go and talk him/herself to other people! idiotic lor... then ms lim ah come and scold us so badly :(
the next segment only our school and anglican was singing. anderson sang badly for those songs so ms lim didn't want them to sing. our dravidian was so sucky. the end part always go out of tune. i think its the tenors. hahas. then before our musical, ms lim come and scold us again. stupid person not doing his/her job. slacking all the time. very very pissed! doesn't deserve it at all! anyway, coming back to the mainline. i think our musical was more entertaining than the other schools. and ms lim said that we sang the loudest! :) but for the "Circle of Life", rachel dropped her purple shiny thingy. so funny. i didn't even know it was hers. i tried to look around to see but the gal still had their's tied onto their waists. i just didn't look in front of me. hahas. oh yar. the guys had to wear this gay purple and gold thingy around our waists. a bit different from the gals. i'd rather have their red and blue one.
ok. we had a crappy talk by ms e lim. going on and on about how good we sang and crap. she didn't even allowed us to come late for school the next day. hahas. anyway, theres this stupid traffic jam in dover road whenever it rains. i think its caused by my school. all the cars driving in and out. so i was late the next day. hahas. only by 15 mins though.
well, a summary of that days events has come to an end. now i shall blog about what happened these few days in another new post.
