nothing seems to be on my mind these few days except choir. its really very energy-draining and time-consuming. other than that, alot of things are happening in school. for example, family day-my school's funfair. its just for us to raise funds to build a bbq pit beside the T-zone a.k.a. Archery Range. there's also founder's day and the choir is going to perform in it so we are gearing up for the performance. 3 big events happening in a short period of time. argh! furthermore, i have my class chairman, probation councilor, section leader commitments to handle. so many things to worry about. luckily elisabeth told sam to mark attendence on monday and tuesday coz i have choral excellence while she has her OBS. moreover, next week there are 2 tests on friday-the day before 2 performances which end at 10pm. its madness i tell you. there's utterly no time to study.2 days of full choir on monday and tuesday without going to school. "experience the life of a full time chorister" as said by the teacher-in charge of choral excellence. sure i can experience it. but with school and so many worries? i am bound to experience more than a chorister. missing school for 2 days is definetly a great blow to me. i definetly am not a nerd but in 2 days, the teachers can finish teaching 1 chapter.
today, even though my bass did not have sectionals (THAT IDIOTIC WANT-TO-BE SL WANTED ONE. HE ASKED ANDY) we still pulled it off quite well. Autumn Leaves was such a sad and solemn song. its quite nice actually. maybe it will be our SYF piece for next year! then after choir we celebrated ms lim ai hooi's and mrs ong's birthday! too bad we couldn't eat the cake. then we sang "happy birthday" to them, fiona and a new boy coz it was their b'day too.
after choir, fiona treated me to a piece of her birthday cake made by 3B even though she's from 3A. quite funny. it was an oreo cheescake. it tasted heavenly! i told samfoo that it could be sold in those hotel restaurants for $2.50 a slice. it was simply delicious! thanks fiona! hahas.
after that, i went to borrow junqi's key to her locker coz yesterday.............................
i had my locker key with me in the morning and took out and put in books. then later during recess, when i wanted to take out my chem book, i found out that my locker key was missing. so i borrowed junqi's locker to put some of my books in. THANKS ALOT JUNQI! that was just a minor trouble-keeping books. the major trouble was that my choral excellence shirt and scores were in the locker! i was in deep shit if i didn't wear the shirt yesterday during the mini-concert. so i secretly went to ring my dad during chem and asked him whether he could go home and get it for me, then come to school to pass it to me. and he said yes! so i got my key, opened it, took out the stuff and went to macs at king albert park with the guys choir pple. THANK YOU DADDY! (i don't like to say mushy stuff... hahas!)
yup. so that's what happened yesterday. moving on, later after the returning of junqi's locker key, i went with lawrence to meet andy, enoch and esmonde at holland v. bk. then went to plaza sing. went home from there while they went back to school. quite crazy la they all... hahas.
